The BEVLOR Swimming Pool Kit Service
The BEVLOR Pool Kit Service is an absolutely
new approach to pool installation that has been developed
by Bluepools and will provide you with:
- The highest performance pool on the French market - the
ARConWall Pool
- At Best Value (BEV)
- At Lowest Risk (LOR)
How does BEVLOR work?
It is very simple.
You buy an ARCOnWall pool installation kit from us and we
provide you with:
- A massive amount of information that turns you into an
ARConWall pool expert overnight including a very detailed
fully illustrated pool installation manual that you and
/ or your own builder can follow with ease
- A set of detailed construction drawings
- A Tool based on Microsoft Excel Software that you can
easily personalize and use to get a detailed Estimate from
your own builder for the installation of the pool kit (or
too see how long it will take to do it yourself)
- A Pro-forma Contract based on Microsoft Word software
that you can easily personalize (Add your name and address
etc.) for use as the Contract between you and your builder
and incorporating the Excel Estimate to define costs.
- A set of complete drawings and planning application documents
(based on your own cadastral plan that will have been provided
to us at the time of kit purchase) that you simply copy
and post to your Mairie for your planning application and
that your installation contractor will use during pool
construction
- Delivery of the ARConWall pool polystyrene blocks to
your site in France by Luke or Will as soon as your builder
has completed the pool excavation - we will advise immediately
on the adequacy of the proposed founding level soil strength
and confirm our findings by an Emailed report
- Delivery of the pool liner and pool filtration plant
when the pool is ready for filling by Luke or Will Witt
- we will inspect the liner for defects, help install it
and advise immediately on the quality of workmanship in
the pool structure. and provide a snagging list by an Emailed
report the next day
- Attendance at the pool site following your advice that
the pool is ready for commissioning - we will help your
builder commission the pool, train you in its operation,
advise immediately on the quality of workmanship etc. and
provide a snagging list by an Emailed report the next day
- Lifetime access to the Bluepools help line that will
provide access to Will or Luke Witt from 8 am to 6 pm from
Monday to Friday.
Why is it Best Value?
Because:
- The ARConWall pool kits are very competitively priced
- All the building work will be carried out by local people
and travelling / accommodation costs will be minimised
- or you can DIY!
- You will not be paying for the high overhead costs of
a professional pool installation company that includes
advertising, vehicle fuel and running costs, directors
salaries and the social security payments on them and most
importantly the 20% overhead of TVA!
- Building companies work at lower profit mark-ups than
pool installation companies because the business overheads
are spread over a lot more people - so their workers are
cheaper
- And last but most importantly you will be the proud owner
of the highest performance pool available on the French
market!
Why is it Lowest Risk?
There are three sorts of risk:-
- The
Risk that you will lose your money because the pool installer
runs off with it or goes bust - this is unfortunately all
to common at the moment
- The Risk that the pool will
be of poor Quality.
- The Risk that the pool installer will
start late and take months to do the work.
In the BEVLOR process the amount
of your money paid out on advance payments will be reduced
to a minimum because:
- Your deposit payment for the kit will be 20% of the kit
cost + TVA - not 20% of the whole professional pool installation
cost + TVA!
- You pay upfront for only 50% of the balance of the kit
cost and the kit cost is about 25% of the cost of a professional
pool installation. In other words the amount of cash at
risk never exceeds about 10% of the total pool cost and
so your money is not sat at risk for months in the account
of a pool installation company.
- You pay your builder after he has carried out the work
- not upfront as with most pool installation contracts
Your risk that the pool will be of poor Quality
will be reduced to a minimum because:
- The ARConWall pool kits provide the highest performance
pool currently available on the French market
- We will hold your hand every step of the way to make
sure that your builder performs - if he does not you do
not pay him until he has put things right
- We will always be available by phone or visit to get
you or your builder back on track if you get into difficulties
- If there is any structural problem with your pool we
will visit the site, report on the problem and help you
get your pool builder to put it right under the guarantees
Your risk that the pool will be installed late because
the pool installer is delayed on previous projects will
be reduced to a minimum because:
- You are using your own builder or it is DIY - in either
case you are in control

The Benefits
that a Bluepools Kit will provide
Benefits provided
The biggest benefit
provided by the bluepools kit is that you will be installing
a swimming pool that is exactly the same as those that we
install under our "Built for Life" motto.
The kit itself
is also a lot simpler to understand and install than one of
the modular panel kits that often involve literally hundreds
of parts that have to be bolted together on the correct sequence.
The polystyene blocks that provide the insulated pool walls
are very simple to put together - just like Lego in fact!
The only difficult
built is the hard work involved in pouring the concrete into
the hollow polystyrene block wall - but this can be carried
out over as many days (or weekends) as you like!
Liner Dimensions
to be provided after the pool structure is built
You may find
that your pool has been built a little inaccurately. This
will not be visible to the naked eye but may affect how
well the liner will fit. So we provide a simple check sheet
that you fill in with the liner dimensions to make sure
that the liner is fabricated to fit the size and shape of
your pool after it has been built.
Liner delivery
and inspection of pool plant and filtration equipment
When you are
ready to commission the pool we will deliver the liner and
safety device, advise on their installation and check that
the pool plant and filtration equipment have been installed
correctly. We will also provide immediate verbal advice
confirmed by Email on any remedial measures that might be
required to ensure that your own pool is "Built for
Life"
Heat pump
and special equipment installation
If you require
us to supply and install special pieces of pool equipment
such as a heat pump or an automatic chlorine dosing
sytem we will do so during the last visit. This
may take a few days depending on the amount of work
Membership
of the Bluepools helpline
You will be provided
with permanent membership of the Bluepools helpline when
we will always be available for advice either by Email or
telephone during normal office hours.
What does
the kit include?
Kit contents
The kits include
every single thing that you need to build a pool with a square
Roman End except for the materials for making the concrete
and screed.
Pool Specification
The pool specification is the same as is provided
under the 6 Week Pool Service here
6 Week Pool
Roman End
The Roman End is
a massive 3m wide x 1.5 m deep and provides 3 No 500mm wide
steps that adults can laze on while your young children play
on the steps. It is covered by reinforced non-slip liner that
feels very good to sit on and is also very durable.
Instruction
Manual
You will receive
the detailed fully illustrated instruction manual in the form
of an Ebook after we have received your deposit so that your
builder can price the cost of installing the pool.
Pool Components
The pool components
are of the same high quality that we use in all the pools
that we build ourselves and you also receive cleaning and
maintenance equipment as well as the chemicals for commissioning
the pool and getting it ready for that first swim!
The pool filtration
system provides the best water quality and standard of hygene
available in a French supplied swimming pool. Please look
at this web-page Pool Sanitation for more information on pool
sanitation and hygiene.
Built for
Life Quality
When it is finished
you shouldl have a Bluepool that will last a lifetime in accordance
with our motto "Built for Life"
What are the
costs involved?
Costs include
ARConWall slab costs
The total cost
of the pools are shown in the following table and they include
for sufficient concrete and reinforcement to provide a 1 m
wide concrete slab around 3 sides of the pool and 3 metres
at the Roman End to provide the "ARConWAll" support
to the top of the pool walls.
Approximate
total pool costs
The approximate
total costs of a pool built in this way are shown in the
following table. These are of course budget figures because
they depend on the prices from your builder and builders
merchant.
These vary depending
on location remoteness, local competition and the department
where you are located. Ready mixed concrete can normally
be purchased for 100 euros per cube or less and then all
you need are plenty of friends to pour it for you.
The digging should
cost less than 1000 euros. But if you do it yourself with
a mini-digger a 2.75 tonne machine will be adequate in most
materials except rock and the excavation should take no more
than two days. The hire cost of such a machine should be less
than 500 euros for two days including delivery and collection.
Pool Kit Prices
The following table gives an idea of the pool
kit costs and the cost of the completed pool if your labour
costs are 150 Euros per day.
If you are going to DIY the pool then the costs
in the "Installation Cost Estimate" column should be subtracted
from the Total Estimated Cost.

Notes on the
pool kit costs
The costs of the
paving flags that can be laid on the concrete slabs around
the pool and the safety device to stop children from drowning
as required by French law are the only costs that are not
included. You can float off the surface of the concrete and
seal it if you do not want to find additional money for the
paving flags. They can be laid at any time in the future.
If the pool is
built in accordance with our instruction book you will have
a pool of the same strength as those built professionably
by us. The standard of finish is of course in your hands but
all the processes are simple and straightforward.
Guarantees
If the reports that we provide during our visits
state that the pool has been built in accordance with
our standards and specifications, the following guarantees
will apply:-
- We guarantee the design of the pool structure against
any movement or settlement caused by ground subsidence
or water pressure during your lifetime. If you tell us
there is a major problem we will arrive on site to inspect
the problem within 7 days and will undertake the remedial
works within 90 days.
- We guarantee to repair all the faults in any pool equipment
that we install free of charge within one year of
pool commissioning, within 20 working days.
- We guarantee to replace any defective parts that were
part of the pool kit for 1 year after pool commissioning
on a "Return to Bluepools" basis.
- We guarantee that we will provide the design and parts
for a water treatment system that will filter the whole
volume of the water in the pool in 6 to 8 hours (depending
on the system settings) and keep the water level constant
to ensure that your pool water is healthy and safe to swim
in at all times.
What other
components might be useful?
You might consider
the following. The prices for these in the Kit Estimate
Tool include on site installation by Bluepools;
- A fully automatic liquid
chlorine and Ph control unit that keeps the pool water quality
to an optimum level (these are plumbed in by us as they
are quite complicated)
- A salt based chlorinator
- A heat pump (installed by
us to maintain the warranties)
- A robot to clean the pool
- A solar heated shower and
automatic pool water top-up
- A button operated pool cover
that acts as winter cover, summer cover and safety device
and is relatively cheap when the cost of the winter and
summer covers as well as the safety device are off-set against
the purchase price.
