The Process

Yard survey

First of all we survey your yard and discuss your requirements. Our local representative will meet with you and spend time fully understanding your requirements and noting many details that will be necessary at the design stage.

Pool Design

Then we design the pool etc, including producing detailed site drawings and construction details.

We can either design to a budget that you give us, or we can advise you of general costs and let you guide us on your requirements.

As soon as we have the survey details and other information the designer will contact you and discuss various ideas that are appropriate before starting. He will also see you to show the initial design before completion….and remember, the costs that we are estimating are raw sub contractor cost that the Licensed Pool Contractor would normally add up tp 40-50% !!

Therefore when we produce our build cost chart showing, for example $21000 build cost, this is a $31000 swimming pool. 

Design Approval

You then approve the design and we complete the construction details,

Pool Installation Contractor or Pool Owner-Builder

We can put the design out to 3 Pool Installation Contractors to bid on

OR

We can go direct to the sub contractors for individual constructions bids

These sub-contractors are in many cases the same people that the builders are using. However sub-sontractors now prefer to work directly for the Pool Owner-Builder because there is less chance of losing money because the Pool Installation Contractor has got into financial difficulty.

Long Established Businesses in your Area.

The Subcontractors and the Pool Installation Contractors that we are use are long established businesses in your area.

In the end the product will have been built by licensed and experienced people. As far as costs are concerned we would expect the Builder quote to be approx 7-10% more than the total costs by using sub contractors on a direct basis (simply the cost of their overhead).Bear in mind the increased cost will be far greater than this without our design and estimating service. We are effectively telling the Builder of the real cost, forcing them to only add their small margin. Without us the bid would probably be at least 40-50% above SC costs!!

Pool Layout in Your Yard

Then we will lay out the pool in the yard, ready for construction. At the same time you can sign the completed permit applications (prepared by us) and these can be submitted for building approval (this normally takes up to 1 week, according to the municipality).

If a Pool Installation Contractor is being used then they will complete this application form.

6 Weeks for Completion

Your pool or pool and spa combo should be completed in less that 6 weeks from permit approval.
